Positions available: one team of three students The challenge I have is that my current Wordpress site no longer allows me to edit/make content changes, and does not have e-commerce integration. I am looking for students to adapt or replace my website. The goal for the project is a functioning website that: Will allow content to be added with ease Allows people to register and pay for classes via Paypal Has an integrated schedule/calendar for classes/events. This needs to include courses that run on non-consecutive days. Brain Gym Canada has a plugin on their site that does this beautifully. We need a technical instruction manual for the Brain Gym® Canada Wordpress website. We are interested in working with students who are excited about the challenge of working with a brand new organization that does not fit into conventional models. Outcomes A complete, detailed technical manual which will allow us to easily maintain our website that includes: Clear, simple, non-technical language for people without training in computer, internet or website programming. A clear description of the architecture and the functional flow of the website. Step-by-step instructions for how to modify existing pages, add new ones and how to maintain and modify the menus as needed. Step-by-step instructions for how to add images, video and other content. How to back up the website, safely update the plugins and perform site maintenance. We are open to instructional videos as well as text and graphics formats. A training session taking us through the manual to insure that it is understood would be appreciated.
