Adapting & Writing Interactive Storytelling Content

Story City, like Pokemon Go or Geocaching, but with stories, is the world’s first marketplace and GPS App for location-based stories, with each real-life choose your adventure, puzzle trail, or historical tale through city streets only accessible if you’re standing in the right location. Each story is created by local writers, artists, filmmakers, performers or tour guides who know their cities best. We are looking for a remote intern to work with us long term (for several projects) as part of the LevelUp program. You will be taking interactive stories and choose your adventures from the Story City platform and adapting them so that they can be played in any city in the world. You will be assigned 2 stories for adaption to four cities - this will require skills in writing, production and editing, as well as a familiarity with maps and a strong ability for research. From there you will be guided in writing your own series of interactive stories.

You will be creating a library of photographs and videos for use across multiple brand channels such as social media, physical collateral, PR releases, influencer marketing and advertising. You will be required to story board and capture multiple scenarios to photograph and film that show usage of the product, both in regular streetwear but also within costume - this will require skills in marketing strategy, production and editing, photography, film & videography.

Virtual Internship Opportunity: Creative Production and Business Development

Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 1 creative production/business development student. The primary focus for the student will be:  Strategic Prospecting (Creators & Partners) - Identifying established content creators across Travel (bloggers, YouTube, walking tours), publishing, podcasting and street art that we can reach out to for collaboration; develop and implement strategies for approaching and on-boarding creators and identifying future prospects; creating a list of potential government/cultural partners and most relevant contacts; develop approach strategies and documents for potential future partnerships. Content Adaption & Production  - creation of sample adaptions and editing/rewriting of the written/visual/audio content into a locative experience format for your identified established content creators; creation of proposals for those sample adaptions to present to strategic partners. Additional tasks the student may be involved in: Partnership Approach - reaching out to potential content creators with an initial introduction to the company; short user interviews with creators to identify their needs & challenges to help refine future approaches to established creators; inclusion in partnership talks between the CEO and content creators.
