Market Expansion for Student Volunteer Program
OneProsper International recently launched the English Learning Buddy program, which is a 10 week volunteer program for high school students in Canada. The mission of the program is girls educating girls. Volunteers are paired with students in India from low income families. Volunteers meet once per week to help their students practice their spoken English skills. After the completion of the 10 week program, volunteers receive a certificate and volunteer service hours. OneProsper Digital Library Project
The intern will create a digital library of books in Box.com to help students in India to learn English. This resource will be used as part of the English Learning Buddy Program, a student volunteer program that connects girls from low income families in India that are highly motivated to learn English with Canadian high school students. For example, Charlotte's Web, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Analysis The intern will categorize each of the twenty (20) selected books according to reading level - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Writing The intern will write reading comprehension questions for each of the selected twenty (20) books. The reading comprehension questions will be organized by chapter and will test students comprehension of the preceding chapter. The intern will create an Answer Key for the reading comprehension questions. The intern will create a list of ten (10) curated discussion topics to be used by tutors and students to practice their spoken English Skills. The discussion topics can be any topic that advances cultural understanding between students living in India and Canada. For example, students can discuss their favorite holidays and how they celebrate these holidays.

OneProsper Fundraising Project
OneProsper International is a Canadian charitable organization that is providing girls from low income families living in the Thar Desert of India with education, clean water, nutrition and increased family income. The intern will help to raise much needed resources to fund the girls education program. https://www.oneprosper.ca/ Responsibilities: Research The intern will be provided access and training to GrantAdvance.com; which is a subscription-based online database of Canadian foundations. The intern will create a list of the top twenty (2) most relevant Canadian foundations that are aligned with the work performed by OneProsper International. The intern will write their rationale with regard to selection of each Canadian foundation. Analysis The intern will create a brief summary of each of the twenty (20) Canadian foundations selected above. Each foundation summary will detail the foundation's giving priorities, key contacts, geographic focus (i.e. Africa, Latin America), whether the foundation is accepting applications, application process and application deadline. The intern will list the average giving amount for each foundation based on the past three years giving history. Writing The intern will write letters of inquiry for each of the selected twenty (20) foundations. The intern will select a request amount for each foundation that is within the annual giving range of the selected foundation.
Written Content Manager
We are looking for a student with excellent organizational skills to manage the content that we create. Content will primarily be for blog posts, email marketing, brand stories, books, and podcasts. There will be the opportunity to write for some projects for students interested in writing. Primary tasks include: liaise with/manage writers schedule blog posts for publication ensure all copy is fully proofed and edited before publication ensure all tags, metadata, and descriptive blurbs (short and long) are associated with the post ensure there are approved graphics for each post optimize assets (images/video/audio files) for each channel/platform where written content will be published coordinate written content (and associated assets such as images/video/audio) between all the channels/platforms (e.g. blog, Medium, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc.) edit/optimize content/tags/links for each piece of written content depending on the channel/platform manage text for press releases manage text for one-sheets manage text for book jacket blurbs manage and distribute written communications materials as needed to Digital Asset Manager marketing and design teams so that everyone has the approved versions of all The student will report directly to our senior editor and have access to all team members and resources. Parents of Black Children (PoBC) is looking for an individual or class to write grants for our non profit advocacy organization to fund our systems navigation, advocacy support and tutoring initiatives for students who identify as Black K-12 across Canada. This project will include: Scheduling and attending meetings with grantors to review/ discuss grant requirements (as needed) Drafting grant applications based on grant criteria Writing and Submitting grant applications Collaborating with the PoBC Team We believe this project will also include: Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for our project and funding. The processes will require the student to: research the blog topic, and find the right keywords for SEO purposes. We will teach you how to do that. Find the right images for the blog topic. Digital Content Writing with AI +SEO 2024 4
We would like students to help us with creating digital marketing content in the form of blog articles. Raw content will be written using an AI content writing tool and optimized partially within that tool's functionality and also further optimized using an SEO-specific optimization tool. . The articles and other content will be based on topics and keywords for inclusion that will be provided. These will cover a broad range of subjects related to our niche of RVing, camping and boating. They could be related either to the parts we sell or to the recreational/outdoor lifestyle and related activities. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. This project offers students the ability to learn cutting edge AI as it relates to content marketing and also provides a learning experience with respect to search engine optimization best practices.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Sincerely researching topics in psychology and mental health. - Creating original and engaging content tailored to the LinkedIn audience, and reposting and expanding on instagram content. - Developing a content calendar for regular posting. - Analyzing engagement metrics and adjusting content strategy accordingly.
