Natural Health Product Regulatory Market Research for USA and Mexico Expansion

Infogenetica Solutions Ltd. is a Canadian B2C privately-owned family company located near Vancouver, BC. We develop high-quality 100% natural fatty acid dietary supplements and skin health products. All our products and manufacturing facilities have been approved by Health Canada (Canadian health regulatory body). Our organization is interested in the possibility of expanding our business internationally. As part of our initial assessment and strategy development, we would like assistance in evaluating the necessary legal process and risks. We would like to work with students to get a picture of what is necessary to expand into the US (with a particular interest in the Pacific Northwest due to the proximity to Vancouver) and/or Mexico markets and any potential legal risks.

Promotional Plan & Materials

As a primarily B2C company, we have a primary focus on creating 100% natural health supplements and skin products relevant to our consumers. Our consumer is at the forefront of everything we do, especially our marketing and advertising efforts. We need to ensure our marketing and advertising mix is relevant and sustainable. This is paramount to successful customer acquisition, retention and loyalty. We need help stepping back from the day to day and rather stepping into the shoes of our ideal customer. With the help of a student group, we would like to develop a new Promotional Plan & Materials to implement it. Our primary product, NeuroActiv Oil, is a Health Canada approved patented formulation of the full spectrum of fatty acids needed for optimal brain function and other crucial functions at the cellular level in all organs, which provide important health benefits. Even though this product is beneficial to everyone in all age groups, we have two primary target markets (so we can supervise 2 different student teams focusing each on one single target market): - Adults interested in healthy aging: Particularly seniors, people who want to prevent or suffer from cardiovascular conditions, dementia, anxiety, Alzheimer's, sleep difficulty, lack of focus, low energy. - Parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, lack of focus, and/or low energy as well as adults with these conditions. Don’t be afraid to expand the P’s and look into newer pieces of the mix like packaging, position, people, etc. Creativity and out of the box thinking is the key to strong marketing and advertising! We could certainly use some new assets for upcoming campaigns.

Mix Marketing Strategy

As a primarily B2C company, we have a primary focus of creating 100% natural supplements and cosmetic products relevant for our consumer. Our consumer is at the forefront of everything we do, especially our marketing efforts. We need to ensure our marketing mix is relevant and sustainable. This is paramount to successful customer acquisition, retention and loyalty. We need help stepping back from the day to day and rather stepping into the shoes of our ideal customer. With the help of a student group, we would like to look at our present marketing mix; product, place, price, and promotion to assess which areas we are excelling, but more importantly help determine where we are lacking. This evaluation should include a review of our current mix, a comparison to our top competitors, and finally creative recommendations for new strategies, particularly increasing our digital presence. Don’t be afraid to expand the P’s and look into newer pieces of the mix like packaging, position, people, etc. Creativity and out of the box thinking is the key to strong marketing! We could certainly use some new marketing assets for upcoming marketing campaigns.
