Virtual Internship in Business Dev & Market Expansion - Real Estate Co.
Open Plains Properties, a Deaton Ventures subsidiary, is a million-dollar U.S. real estate company focused on buying and selling properties direct to consumers. We currently operate in selected target markets and are looking to continue our growth by expanding into other markets . We are interested in understanding market dynamics and key variables on which markets to enter to make an informed, data-driven decision. Our specific need is research analytics on the market dynamics across several geographical locations. We intend to explore and understand the: - supply and demand patterns, - competitive landscape, - regulatory forces and factors influencing buying behavior, - market demographics, - sales dynamics relative to pricing and purchase models, and - market favorability relative to other markets The key deliverable of this project will be an understanding of targeted markets with segmentation that provides company direction and prioritization on which markets to enter. Additionally, deliverables for each market researched will include supporting data as developed and agreed beforehand as well as an accompanying market report. We will communicate with our virtual intern on a regular basis (biweekly/weekly) to maintain focus and adjust as necessary through tools such as: email, conference calls, video meetings, instant messaging and any others as necessary.
Digital Marketing Strategy
We want students to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: · Analysis of the Competitive Landscape and Best Practices in our field · Digital marketing strategy based on our client avatars · Digital marketing tactics, including SEO plan, e-mail marketing plan, social media marketing campaign plan, content calendar, best practice content (text & imagery) as well as branding feedback and marketing/branding material ideas · Platform analytics, evaluation, and control of the digital marketing plan
