Brave Soles are handmade leather shoes with hand-cut recycled tire soles and accessories. Through our simple processes, we help to generate employment for 20 people in both Canada and Dominican Republic. We are also focused on keeping our processes simple, easily reproduced and able to provide many avenues of enterprise that helps to make a more equitable world. We are ecommerce based but sell through many channels.

We want to create content that can be used across Pinterest, Instagram and TIkTok that is engaging and built off of our brand story. We are building an extensive editorial calendar and this project will provide various opportunities for students to participate on a team, learn new platforms and tools for business and marketing, as well as contribute to creative projects that we are working on for this business year. Their work will be uploaded to the platforms relevant to the assets that are created, but they will all be located in our team drive for future access, as well.

Overall, the project went smoothly and I really enjoyed it. Working on the giveaway was a dynamic and rewarding experience. I gained valuable insights into coordinating with multiple brands, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring that all aspects of the giveaway ran from start to finish. One of the key lessons I learned was the importance of timely follow-ups and consistent engagement. By staying proactive in communication, I was able to keep all participants aligned and address any issues promptly. I also gained skills in content creation and social media engagement, which were critical in driving visibility and participation. This project has strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively with partners, and skills that I will carry forward into future projects.
