Development of an Incident Management and Reporting Database

Who we are : A non-profit organization providing mental health and addictions services to adults in the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts. Our current challenge : Our current incident reporting process relies predominately on manual data entry and is not designed in a way that permits data extraction or analysis. Our desired outcome : Creation of an incident report with an automated workflow, that also populates an incident report management database within a Microsoft 365 environment. Support from Organization : Weekly touch point to engage and exchange ideas.

Graphic Design Project for Community Mental Health Agency

We are looking for a student who can create graphic design assets for our Board Room that align with our organizational mission, vision and values and build on our existing branding. The student will create three 24x48 inch banner templates with interchangeable features that can be updated seasonally while maintaining overall design and aesthetic. A little about the space where the assets will be on display: We proudly meet regularly in our Jean Hanson Boardroom (named for a long-time friend and community advocate) with community members for education purposes, knowledge sharing, and decision making, and with the Board of Directors for governance. Our staff use this room regularly for professional and social purposes where we foster an environment of accountability, authenticity, and quality. We believe in the importance of working as a collective towards a shared vision. These banners will contribute to a space that reflects our vision and inspires our future.

Balanced Scorecard Development - Level Up

Who we are : A non-profit organization providing mental health and addictions services to adults in the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts. Our current challenge : We require strategic performance management tools that visually demonstrate progress towards achieving our strategic goals, however our organization does not have the internal capacity. Our desired outcome : The creation of an organizational, balanced scorecard dashboard template that contains our strategic goals and key measures. Student's day to day : Create a strategy map aligned with our strategic plan and goals. Research mental health and addiction sector-specific and appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) for inclusion in the scorecard. Design a functional template of a balanced scorecard (based on the strategy map) dashboard in Excel that includes our programs and relevant KPIs. Weekly touch point to engage and exchange ideas.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Development of Safe Spaces

Who we are : A non-profit organization providing mental health and addictions services to people in the Sudbury and Manitoulin Districts. Our current challenge : We require time and resources to advance the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee’s objective to ensure that all CMHA sites are inclusive and culturally safe spaces. This requires further research into best practices and the development of a plan for the continued promotion and provision of safe spaces. Our agency has demonstrated a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, however human resource limitations do not allow us to advance this important work. What students can except : Contributing to a not for profit through advocacy and the provision of safe, inclusive, and accessible mental health and addictions services. Agency support and commitment to advancing the work of the DEI Committee. Regular touch points with the Committee to engage and exchange ideas.
