Website Development
We need help revamping and creating a new website. We would like to work with students to develop a website that is best suited for our company. Students should be prepared to:Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitableCreate a design proposal including wireframes or low-fidelity mockups for our company's review.Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy.Provide training on updating and maintaining the site.
Health Promotion Campaign Plan
Our organization wants to further our efforts to increase awareness about a particular health topic. We would like to work with students to develop a campaign that successfully raises awareness and changes behaviour around this health topic in a certain population. In collaboration with key contacts at our organization, students will design and carry out a campaign strategy around this health topic. Identify groups which this campaign will target.Identify ideal outcomes and KPIs.Design leaflets, posters, videos, and/or brochures.
Market Expansion Research
We are ready to take our business to the next level. Presently we only exist in one market but it’s time to grow! Our company requires some assistance is assessing our customer landscape outside of our current territory. We want to learn more about customer’s expectations and behaviours in suggested new regions. It is important for us to stay up to date on industry standards to ensure that we research new locations fully and completely before choosing to enter. We have some ideas of where we would like to go but we need to make sure that we consider all available options before making a decision.
Online Store Website Design
We would like to create an online based ordering service from our website. We want to make it look elegant and fancy. This must be done by research and must have easy access for customers.
Market Expansion Research
As a company, we currently exist in one market, but we believe we are ready to take our business to the next level and expand our scope of locations. With your help, we hope to assess our customer landscape beyond the demographics we currently cater to by learning about their expectations and behaviors. Currently our market is the youth, we want to expand our readership to the other age groups. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Researching the target market in potential new locations including demographic data such as spending power, proximity, accessibility, and location appeal, and creating a weighted decision matrix to assign importance to each factor.Creating a survey based on the location and demographic information above to be distributed by our company.Analyzing survey data using the weighted decision matrix to decide on the best location options for us to expand to.Compiling a report including the location analysis, and optimal location recommendations.
B2C Product Launch to New Market Research
As a B2C company, our primary goal is creating products that are closely aligned to our market segment’s wants and needs, so that we can maximize our sales. We have recently created a new product to increase the breadth of our product line. It will be important to gather information on buying behaviour, experiences, expectations, and perception of both our brand and our largest competitors.Tasks may involve: Creating an unbiased survey with questions regarding consumer experience with our brand, perception of our products/services, and opinions on our competitors.Creating effective conversation questions for customer interviews.Determining the best way to reach customers and how to motivate them to provide feedback on the company (we will distribute the survey accordingly).Analyzing trends within primary data collected through the survey and interviews, and reporting on them.Conduct operational analysts.
Website UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore re-designing our current website with a prototype. We are always on the lookout for innovative and fresh UI and UX ideas that will help our users.This will involve: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. We are happy to provide a walkthrough and other resources to help bring them up to speed.Identifying key areas of our current website and what areas of focused might return the best results in a redesign.Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available.Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a web application which can be used on all major browsers and be mobile friendlyConducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this
Fundraising Event Planning
Our organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.We would like to collaborate with students to plan a fundraising event to help meet our goals.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.Estimating and establishing the budget of the fundraising event.Creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks for volunteers to complete at the event.Assisting in marketing and promoting our event.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Recommending improvements for future fundraising events.
Blogging
.We would like to collaborate with students to create blog posts that drive more traffic to our website.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our goals, target market, products and services.Recommending topics for our blog posts.Drafting blog posts relevant to our business.Revising blog posts based on feedback.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Recommending ways to market our blog.
Digital Marketing
We would like to collaborate with students to review and post content promoting our company.This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products and services.Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, brochures, etc.Deploying content according to our social media calendar to increase website traffic.Overseeing our channels and keeping them up-to-date.Bonus steps in the process would also include:Recommending search engine optimization (SEO) strategies so our materials are easily accessible.
