Graphic Designer - Climate Change Conference
We want students to help us create beautiful and engaging graphic design assets for a few public relation campaigns and areas likes social media, our website, and print material. The graphic design will revolve around event-based purposes, e.g. event website, brochures, posters, etc. Our target is to to build a healthy base of graphic design content to be used throughout the conference. We are looking for students with a stylistic interest in nature themed design. YouTube Animation/Video about Small Towns of Canada
Number of individual students required: 5 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting small town communities and travellers. We launched about 150 unique pages of Top Places to Visit in the Town. We would like students to help us with creating small YouTube animations/videos about small Canadian towns that are aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. You can check previous videos on 1000 Towns of Canada YouTube channel.ca to clarify our formats. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Choose min 8 topics, discuss them with the 1000 Towns of Canada team Create animations/videos Publish them on the YouTube channel and on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization. Interdisciplinary Authors
This project will begin November 7 following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The end-date for the project and deliverable submission deadline is December 5 at 11:59 PM MST. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking 100 (one hundred) post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting. Participants will produce a finalised deliverable of a minimum 3000-word article. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas.

We're looking for a student to help us with the creation of graphic design assets for 2 separate environmentally focused projects. This will include: Working with project leads to come up with logo's, color themes and branding guides that aligns with our mission. Creating graphic design assets for social media accounts and websites, such as logo's letterheads, typeface, imagery, color scheme palette.
Market Research Associate - Level Up (Remotely)
This project could appeal to students in any field, including business, arts, science etc. TNB Glasses is a Canadian eyewear designer, manufacturer and distributor of Canadian eyewear brand: Midas. Midas is an exciting, colorful, and fashionable brand, favorite by number of stores across GTA (Great Toronto Area). The students will be supporting our team in the market research and data collection of optical stores information in assigned geographical areas to assist with brand expansion across Canada and beyond. We want to better understand our target market and audience as well as the overall market so we can uniquely position ourselves within our industry. The research will include: Target market research Collecting information from different sources, including IG, Facebook, Google, different review websites Analyzing the data collected from the initial research for this project.

Blogging for Tutoring Company
Our company provides tutoring for students in math and science up to grade 12. We want to add to our blog to strengthen our marketing.The primary goal of this project is to collaborate with students to produce compelling and educational blog posts that align with The Progressive Centre's marketing strategy, thereby driving more traffic to the company's website. Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, enhance their writing and marketing skills, and contribute to the growth of an educational platform. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Introduction to The Progressive Centre : Students will be given an overview of The Progressive Centre's goals, target market, and the range of educational services and workshops we provide. This will include an insight into our teaching philosophy, approach to learning, and the impact we aim to have on our students' educational journeys. Market Research and Topic Selection : Participants will conduct research to understand current trends in education, with a focus on math and science topics, study skills, and online learning. Based on this research, students will recommend engaging and relevant topics for our blog that would appeal to our target audience, primarily parents and school-aged children. Content Creation : Students will draft informative and engaging blog posts on selected topics. These posts should not only reflect The Progressive Centre's expertise in education but also offer value to our readers, such as tips, strategies, and insights into effective learning. Revision and Feedback : Drafted blog posts will undergo a review process where students will receive constructive feedback from our team. Students will then revise their work accordingly, ensuring the final posts are polished and aligned with our content standards. (Bonus) Marketing Strategy Recommendations : As an additional challenge, students can propose innovative strategies to market the blog content. This may include social media promotion, email marketing, partnerships with educational influencers, or other creative approaches to increase blog visibility and engagement. By the end of the project, students will have created a series of high-quality blog posts ready for publication on The Progressive Centre's website. These posts should not only reflect the students' understanding of the subjects but also their ability to engage with the target audience effectively. Furthermore, students will gain valuable experience in content creation, digital marketing, and the application of their academic knowledge in a practical setting.
