Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our company provides tutoring for students in math and science up to grade 12. We want to add to our blog to strengthen our marketing. The primary goal of this project is to collaborate with students to produce compelling and educational blog posts that align with The Progressive Centre's marketing strategy, thereby driving more traffic to the company's website. Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, enhance their writing and marketing skills, and contribute to the growth of an educational platform.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  1. Introduction to The Progressive Centre: Students will be given an overview of The Progressive Centre's goals, target market, and the range of educational services and workshops we provide. This will include an insight into our teaching philosophy, approach to learning, and the impact we aim to have on our students' educational journeys.
  2. Market Research and Topic Selection: Participants will conduct research to understand current trends in education, with a focus on math and science topics, study skills, and online learning. Based on this research, students will recommend engaging and relevant topics for our blog that would appeal to our target audience, primarily parents and school-aged children.
  3. Content Creation: Students will draft informative and engaging blog posts on selected topics. These posts should not only reflect The Progressive Centre's expertise in education but also offer value to our readers, such as tips, strategies, and insights into effective learning.
  4. Revision and Feedback: Drafted blog posts will undergo a review process where students will receive constructive feedback from our team. Students will then revise their work accordingly, ensuring the final posts are polished and aligned with our content standards.
  5. (Bonus) Marketing Strategy Recommendations: As an additional challenge, students can propose innovative strategies to market the blog content. This may include social media promotion, email marketing, partnerships with educational influencers, or other creative approaches to increase blog visibility and engagement.

By the end of the project, students will have created a series of high-quality blog posts ready for publication on The Progressive Centre's website. These posts should not only reflect the students' understanding of the subjects but also their ability to engage with the target audience effectively. Furthermore, students will gain valuable experience in content creation, digital marketing, and the application of their academic knowledge in a practical setting.
