The course covers the design, development, application and management of information resources and the underlying technological infrastructure. Topics include: role of information systems in business; fundamentals of information technology - hardware, software, communication and computer networks, databases and enterprise systems; ethical issues in the information age, as well as issues of globalization, social impact, privacy, and security.
