Bio

I am currently a second-year student at the University of Calgary completing my Master of Pathologists Assistant degree. With experience in both an operating hospital laboratory as well as within a research setting, I feel that I have been equipped with the tools needed to be a successful colleague and employee in a variety of fields and teams. I am passionate about combining my interests in both clinical laboratory medicine and scientific research to improve healthcare systems and the lives of those in my community.
I consider myself an organized, detailed-oriented person and often thrive in environments which require accurate data analysis or in-depth research. However, I also gravitate toward positions where I can mentor my peers and/or assist with inspiring the younger generation to become more involved in education and their community.
