Objectives We want to better understand our target market, the overall market for our services, and our competitors so we can uniquely position Elantis within our industry. We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitors in our space and how we can differentiate Elantis through our product/service offering, and our brand messaging. This project will include: Target market research. Research of the industry size and market potential in specific locations. Competitive analysis, including: identification of our current and potential competitors; identification of competitors’ services, differentiators, strengths, weaknesses, and brand messaging; the creation of a matrix identifying features shared across competitors and those that are different. Recommendations for the strategic positioning of our brand. Resources We will provide you with access to organizational assets that support the project, including a dedicated marketing specialist for collaboration, marketing strategy documents, list of known competitors to research, marketing and sales collateral, etc.

The Great Resignation has led to a greater willingness to leave traditional jobs for careers that offer greater personal fulfillment. This, in turn, has created a more competitive job market for recent graduates and soon-to-be graduates, who are seeking careers that align with their values and offer a sense of purpose. The nonprofit, charitable, and NGO (non-governmental organization) sector is one that has traditionally been attractive to individuals seeking purpose and fulfillment in their careers. The sector is characterized by a mission-driven culture and a focus on making a positive impact on society, which aligns well with the values and goals of many people looking for meaningful work. Careers in the nonprofit sector can also be challenging, as many organizations operate on limited budgets and have limited resources. This project aims to leverage student learnings, to provide greater resource stability and sustainability for mission-driven organizations, like trade associations.
