Bylaws creation
The main goal of this project is to create a set of bylaws that will become the primary guiding document for The Human Factor Community Organization. The incumbent will: Liaise with the board of directors to discover bylaw needs Research bylaws Create bylaws, if there is time
Funding Prospect List
The main goal of this project is to create a master list of prospective funders that The Human Factor Community Organization will use to develop relationships with potential funders. These prospective funders will be curated from local businesses and individuals who have given to hospitals, etc.
By-laws Finalization
The Human Factor Community Organization is a not-for-profit which aims to elevate the status of humankind through programs, services, consulting community partners, and, where appropriate, advocacy in order to increase the health and well-being of the whole human and the communities where we live, play, and work. The purpose of this project is to use the outlined by-laws that has already been created to further develop a completed set of by-laws for The Human Factor Communication Organization. The previous outline has been heavily commented and drafted to make this part of the project a success. The learner(s) are expected only to create a first draft of the by-laws which can be reviewed by a lawyer.
Policies Creation
The Human Factor Community Organization is a not-for-profit which aims to elevate the status of humankind through programs, services, consulting community partners, and, where appropriate, advocacy in order to increase the health and well-being of the whole human and the communities where we live, play, and work. The purpose of this project is to create the first draft of the policies to be used by The Human Factor Community Organization. These policies are, but not limited to: Governance Roll of Officers Financial Accountability Conflict of Interest Confidentiality & Privacy Code of Ethics Complaints In-camera Board Meetings Planning Board, Committee, & Staff Relations Volunteer Financial Donor & Gifts Record Retention Communications Board member Job Descriptions Hiring Social Media Whistleblower Non-Descrimination Board Election and Retention Board Member Selection Anti-nepotism Anti-bullying These policies will be determined through provided resources and research of similar not-for-profits.
