As a Nigerian-born, Irish-bred woman who is currently residing in Canada, I've been opportune enough to see the world through the lens of various cultures in various locations and one thing I've come to realize is that people have the same basic desires, but the way in which they satisfy their desires differs.
The challenge comes in when you need to sell new ideas because it becomes essential to fit the "idea" within the mould of their desire. No longer selling a product but an experience, a lifestyle, a feeling etc. This is marketing to me.
My ideal career would include combining, the interpersonal skills I gained from community outreach, and the technical and research skills I'm gaining while completing my program, to enrich my community by providing them with means to transform their ideas from simply just ideas, to their reality.

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. PickEco Refills is a Zero Waste grocery store. Our aim is to help our customers reduce their environmental footprint through meaningful and waste free shopping and education. We are not just here to sell a product, we want to make the world a cleaner and greener place. We are an inclusive space within our community, and we want everybody to feel welcome and safe. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.
