Details

We’re looking for a student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness Ogo Tawa and our programs within the black community while nurturing engagement.

Deliverables

Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following:

  • Content Calendar Curation: timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site
  • Social Media Management: overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date
  • Manage social media content on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms across the digital stream
  • Define, create and manage digital campaigns on platforms
  • Works with other teams to develop social media timelines coinciding with new project for fundraising event
  • Coordinates social media messaging with Graphic designer and marketing specialist
  • Ability to create, fun, playful, engaging content that builds audience followership and engagement
  • Respond to comments, messages, and general inquiries on social media platforms promptly and seek guidance when necessary on sensitive issues.
  • Generate monthly analytical reports on all active platforms.

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the operations manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include weekly progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
