Gabriel is a highly talented UI designer and a fantastic team player! During his time at AIM, he presented some of the most beautiful designs that effectively reflected our vision for our brand. We are an early-stage startup focused on developing wearable technologies for beauty. Our first product is internally referred to as ePolish. ePolish are artificial nails that can instantly change colour from a mobile app by bringing the ePolish into proximity to the phone. Positions available: four individual students (two per role)Students will be expected to collaborate with one anotherTHE PROJECTWe are looking to refresh our current landing page (www.mitravelapp.com) including the content copy and design layout, to better capture our student travellers’ attention. The main goal of the new landing page is to illustrate the value and benefits of MiTravel, as well as to increase the mailing list sign-up conversions in preparation for our product launch in June 2021.Selected students will have the opportunity to take the lead on this project from concept to creation, with ongoing support and mentorship from the Founders.To ensure the successful delivery of this project, we outline some key tasks (but not limited to) which selected students will perform:Gain a better understanding of what MiTravel is as a company and platform, and identify how best to showcase this both visually and through a compelling narrativeConduct preliminary primary and secondary market research to strengthen your understanding of the student travellers demographic and what engages themWork collaboratively with the group of selected students and Founders to conceptualize, write, design and bring to life a community, travel and platform-focused landing page that conveys the collective identity of MiTravelTest the website content copy and design wireframes with a few people from the student travellers demographic to receive constructive feedback and make iterations as neededFinalize the refreshed landing page content copy and design layout for approvalPlease note: the selected student candidates will work on this project on a part-time basis for about 10 hours per week (for a maximum duration of 8 weeks).THE CANDIDATESYou are a strong team player with a maker spirit that would like to use your talents to help shape the early vision of MiTravel.
