Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We are an early-stage startup focused on developing wearable technologies for beauty. Our first product is internally referred to as ePolish. ePolish are artificial nails that can instantly change colour from a mobile app by bringing the ePolish into proximity to the phone. Our team is entirely comprised of two technical founders who are currently focused on finishing the prototype.

So far, we have won some traction by participating in local pitch competitions and are looking to improve the following three areas:

  1. PR visibility + growth
  2. SEO growth
  3. Social media growth
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

First, a marketing strategy will be designed, so it's consistent through the different platforms and aligned with the company's mission and vision. Currently, we are looking to showcase the company and its team - so this will be the primary focus of this strategy. Nonetheless, a secondary strategy for customers can also be discussed as part of the plan for future implementation.

Once the strategy has been created, it will be executed throughout the following channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. This will be achieved by drafting posts and scheduling them on Hootsuite.
