Masters Level Organizational Psychology Practicum Placement (250 hours)

MAIOP 588

Jan 11, 2025 - May 1, 2025

Is your organization experiencing a human resources or organizational challenge related to culture, training and development, leadership, or performance and assessment? Bring on graduate level students at Adler University to analyze your challenge and develop a robust solution. Students will devote up to 250 hours of work towards solving your HR related challenges, and we are seeking companies that need a larger project completed. Working in an organizational setting enables students to develop the ability to bring their academic training to bear on practical problems in diverse situations and to develop a critical appreciation of the roles and functions of organizational psychology practitioners in organizations and the community. Students also gain insight into the constraints that apply in work environments and the relationships that exist between theory and practice. Upon completion of the Organizational Psychology Practicum, students will be able to demonstrate behaviour consistent with a beginning level of independent practice as an organizational psychology practitioner as well as a supervisor, and thus be enabled to direct the professional work of junior colleagues.
