Kalen did a good job developing a systematic methodology for reviewing the recent pesticide literature for ten of the pesticides applied to forest seedlings and updating the guidelines for planters exposed as they plant thousands of these seedlings daily. His work was not for a guide for applicators but for those who handle seedlings that have been treated with pesticides on a daily basis. that he reviewed literature associated with ten of the pesticides was appreciated. Some of the practical nature of the exposure and risks require further clarification from his advisory work, but solid work was contributed.

It was a pleasure to have Kalen on the team for this project! He is a diligent, efficient and detail oriented team member. He is well organized, communicative, and excels in both individual and group multi-tasking. Meetings, plans, goals and deliverables were efficiently executed and productive.
