Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Our team is looking for a social media marketing wizard who can help us drive more traffic and improve our SEO positioning. The primary project requirements include:

  1. Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization
  2. A strategy document to outline:
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords
  • Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share
  1. Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site
  2. Creating engaging content for prominent media websites
  3. Working with tools and programs such as shopify, google ads and facebooks ads.
  4. We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to achieve increase raw traffic by doing the following:
  • Analyze and optimize our website for ranking well across different search engines
  • Create long tail keywords for ranking different webpages
  • Create and implement a strategy to increase our organic search ranking
  • Research competitors to see what keywords they rank for
  • Execute a strategy to rank highly when potential clients search for a competitor
  • Create analytics dashboard and identify metrics to measure that help drive sales
  • Use analytics to support the creating of retargeting campaigns

This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.

How will you support learners in completing the project?

If you decide to work on this project the first thing we will do is have an introduction meeting to get to know each other better and to give you the opportunity to share with our team what would you like to learn as a student. After that we will set goals and milestones during the project period. You as a student will have the opportunity to manage your time and set key dates for updates.

When goals and the workplace is ready we will schedule weekly or bi-weekly meetings to present updates and review tasks. We will be using different tools provided by our team to keep track of tasks and documents.

One member our team will be available for messages anytime during the day to better support the student.
