Science World - Summer Camp Processes

The main goal of the project would be to investigate and suggest improvements for our Camp Registration & Communication process. Our Summer Camps program is hugely successful, selling out each year within minutes. Our Experiential Learning Team is looking for ways to improve and reduce barriers of entry to our camp registration process (current payment plan is phone only, sold out within 5 min) and to develop more efficient communication channels to parents of selected/registered campers.

Science World - Volunteer Onboarding Process

The main goal of this project would be to investigate and suggest improvements for how our organization might standardize and automate the volunteer onboarding process across all the different types of volunteers so there is consistency among the process despite the different needs of each.

Science World - Measure Program Outcomes

The main goal of this project would be to design and plan a manageable way to measure the visitor response to our extra programming components (i.e., theme weeks).The Experiential Learning teams currently put significant effort into planning and implementing additional programs for our visitors without a way to measure outcomes, determine if the made an impact to visitors or determine if the programs should be repeated, changed or cancelled. Ideally, the outcome of this project could help us to investigate and suggest improvements for how could we start gathering data that could be used for future decision making on our extra-programming components.
