Indian Summer produces some of Vancouver’s most distinctive arts + culture events. We present acclaimed international and local artists, connecting Vancouver to itself and the world. We offer our audiences multi-arts experiences of exceptional caliber, curating through a South Asian lens and centering the exciting work of culturally diverse artists. Programming across literature, music, visual arts and the performing arts, we connect rich and complex pasts with the emerging future.

Ticket Management for Indian Summer Festival
The main goal for the project is to effectively manage all ticket requests for the Indian Summer festival, ensuring that donors, sponsors, special guests, and dignitaries receive their complimentary tickets in a timely manner. This will involve several different steps for the person managing the requests, including:- Communicating with donors, sponsors, special guests, and dignitaries to understand their ticket requirements.- Tracking all ticket requests and assigned tickets for the festival.- Coordinating with the festival team to ensure smooth ticket distribution.- Providing excellent customer service to all ticket recipients.
Production Assistant
Position available: 1We are seeking an assistant to work closely with our Production Manager, Mimi Abrahams. Mimi is an established and sought-after professional who works as a venue manager, technical director, and producer on many large-scale events throughout the city of Vancouver. This candidate will work closely with Mimi to support the 11th Annual Indian Summer Festival, which is a virtual festival in summer of 2021.Tasks may include:Updating calendars and assisting with schedulingDocument and spreadsheet proofreadingDocument formattingNotes transcription to google drive Digital research, production relatedDigital assets organization and progress checklistMay be asked to ghost write reply or follow up emailIdeal candidate:A go-getter to do a hybrid of virtual workplace.
