The Innovation & Technology Department is seeking an intelligent, energetic, and responsible intern to join the team! In this position, you will be expected to assist the department with our daily routines and procedures. Intern Duties and Responsibilities: · Answer phone and email inquiries regarding our classes and other offerings · Maintain an electronic record of prospective and current class attendees · Assist in preparing student class materials · Assist instructors in creating application-specific supplemental assignments · Assist students with questions regarding class assignments · Manage databases and input information, data, and records · Assist in evaluating student assessment and training results · Update and post supervised social media content; respond to social media postsIntern
Small Business Development Internship
Positions available: 3 The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) strives to provide a hub for the support of small business owners and entrepreneurs. The SBDC offers support in business plan development and Financial and lending assistance. Interns will have the opportunity to work with YWCA SBDC clients to have an online presence. This includes: 1.) working with YWCA marketing to do a calendar of clients to be featured on the website, 2.) Creating templates, 3.) Interfacing with clients on a unified look of company name, website, and product offerings 4.) Develop a video montage of clients for each day that they are featured. 5.) Follow-up with clients on the experience of promoting their business with YWCA SBDC. 6.)Submit a final report on the assignment, which includes sharing their experience working with YWCA SBDC.
Magazine Editorial & Content Curation
StreetWise Magazine is a street paper created to provide both a voice and employment opportunities for people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. We are looking for interns that can assist with our target market and audience as well as the overall market so we can uniquely gain more visibility within our industry. The internship tasks will include: · Assist with StreetWise social media/editorial · Help with research/evaluation of the broader department communications strategy. · Daily tasks may consist of: writing, broadcast, content curation, and raising voices of underserved populations.
