Spring is an innovation and PR consultancy and we are currently developing a new social enterprise – Future Proof My Home. Our experience includes designing services, events, product launches and communication campaigns for clients in the home improvement sector (most recently Kingspan, Potton, Keuco), music industry and sponsorship. Future Proof My Home is our ‘passion project’.
Over the last 5 years we have been carrying out research and development for Future Proof My Home which will enable home improvers to create homes that are both energy efficient and accessible (i.e. suitable for all ages and abilities).

Workshop planning

Challenge Outline: Using a user-centred design process, develop and present concepts for an imaginative Future Home: Future Self workshop and marketing ideas to promote it to home improvers between 50-65 years old. The workshop needs to be:· Easily repeatable· Appropriate for home improvers 50-65 years old and their families· Hosted online· 1 hour durationKey aims/objectives:1) Identify ways to understand the profiles of our potential attendees i.e. stages of home improvement, in need of advice, design support, products or installers2) Develop 3 concepts for the workshop format and present with rationale3) Develop the materials to go with the chosen concept4) Develop a marketing plan for promoting it via appropriate channels5) Develop an online questionnaire to gather feedback as part of the workshop

Product Portfolio

Challenge Outline: Help us create a stunning portfolio of fixtures and fittings that could make homes both easier to use for people of all ages and abilities and more energy efficient. We need help to manage and order the information and pictures ready for upload to our website. We need a selection of products for most homeowner’s rooms who are between 50-65 years old.Key aims/objectives:1) Selecting a different room each, research and collate a database of suitable products that fit our criteria of being both accessible and energy efficient. Make sure to investigate the manufacturer’s practices to help with your decision.2) Collate the contact information for the sales and marketing person responsible for that product line and develop a brief document explaining what we are looking for.3) STRETCH GOAL: Liaise with our copywriter on how to best market the products that you have selected for each room, perhaps speaking to the manufacturers about using their artwork.
