Vancouver Page ( www.vancouver.page ) is seeking assistance from students to develop a digital marketing strategy aimed at promoting its platform as a go-to resource for discovering local businesses, places, events, and offers in Metro Vancouver. Additionally, we aim to encourage local business owners and event organizers to list their businesses and events on our platform. We are keen to explore the most effective channels and strategies to enhance our visibility and engagement. The key questions we would like students to help us address include: How should we promote the Vancouver.Page website? (Please provide a list of effective strategies as part of the solution.) Which social media channels should we utilize for our marketing efforts? What is an appropriate monthly budget for marketing and advertising? What messaging should we employ to effectively reach our target audience? Who should be our high-potential audience that we need to specifically target?
Vancouver Page user acquisition and retention
The main goal of the project is to develop and implement a comprehensive user acquisition and retention strategy for Vancouver Page (www.vancouver.page), the online local guide to businesses, places, events and offers in Vancouver. The objective is to significantly increase the user base and enhance user engagement to establish the Vancouver Page as a go-to platform for local information and activities.
Vancouver.Page UI / UX ReDesign & Prototype
Vancouver Page Digital Inc. ( www.vancouver.page ) aims to revamp our current website with a prototype to enhance user experience in discovering top local businesses, events, and offers in Metro Vancouver. Additionally, the platform enables local business owners and event organizers to seamlessly add and manage their listings. This will involve: Conducting thorough research on our existing website. Reviewing competitor websites and providing a SWOT analysis. Compiling a list of essential features for the website redesign to ensure user-friendly interactions for both regular users and business owners/event organizers. Identifying key areas of improvement on our current website and focusing on areas likely to yield the best results in the redesign. Mastering various software design tools. We highly recommend proficiency in Figma, the latest and most advanced tool available. Creating a detailed screen-by-screen UX/UI prototype of the website, optimized for all major browsers and mobile devices. The design should prioritize SEO-friendliness. Conducting UX/UI testing with potential users, possibly employing paper prototypes or other software tools to support the testing process.
