FULL - Designing assets (print and digital) and e-course materials
Positions available: 4 There are 4 distinct components to this job. 1. Concept and initial execution of video assets for e-course Develop an approach to 4 short storytelling videos for one chapter of the e-course. This can be motion graphics or more simple animated slides with voice overs. The goal is that they are on brand and that the approach is replaceable by you or by another designer (ultimately there will be 28 in total) Develop an approach to 1 minute introductory video that provides an overview to that chapter Steps in this job: Create your workback schedule/timeline, demonstrate an understanding of brand, to explore options, including animation, create a visual look and feel moodboard, pitch your concept, create a test video for feedback (one for each approach), to execute 5 videos in total, package all files, create a handoff document that helps explain the process to a subsequent designer. 2. Concept and initial prototype for UX/UI of web application Develop an approach to a simplified web application learning preferences assessment. The goal is to produce a prototype web application that would be ready for coding. Steps in this job: Create your workback schedule/timeline, demonstrate an understanding of brand, create a visual look and feel moodboard, pitch your concept, explore options with wireframes (flow), test the flow with 3 users, build out prototype in InVision/Sketch or appropriate software, package all files, create a handoff document that helps a coder understand what is being asked to build. 3. Design a print workbook based on a skill theme. Develop 3 concepts for the book based on the existing brand. Execute the design from start to printing specs. Steps in this job: Create your workback schedule/timeline, demonstrate an understanding of brand, conduct competitive research, create a visual look and feel moodboard, pitch your concept, test the concept through a series of social media posts, create the template and execute the project, package all files, create a handoff document that helps helps summarize the process to a subsequent designer. 4. Develop graphic assets to support the brand. Create between 30-40 social media posts (including posts/stories/video/reels/FB) to promote various Skillpod products Create one master slide deck Potentially 4 downloadable worksheets (if time permits) Steps in this job: Create your workback schedule/timeline, demonstrate an understanding of brand, conduct research about how to create social content quickly, create a visual look and feel moodboard, create 3 sample posts, pitch your concept, test the concept through a series of social media posts, package all files, create a handoff document. **Students are responsible for their own hardware and software.
