Number of positions available: 1 team of 5 persons The UnschoolingSchool.com team is launching a project to synthesize the many sources of proof and evidence that Self-Directed Education (SDE) works and is an optimal way to educate children. We have partnered with Riipen.com to engage university and college students in short projects to help with the work of gathering and synthesizing the evidence. For more information about our amazing project click on the Resources Section. This project involves designing and conducting 2 multiple-choice surveys: 1. For Conventional System High School graduates and drops-out— to gather evidence that they would have benefited from a K-12 education that involved much more student agency. 2. For Unschoolers/Self-Directed Education participants-- to gather evidence that their SDE prepared them very effectively for post-secondary education and/or work Possible sources: 1. peers, FB, Insta, Student Unions/Association 2. ALPHA I & ALPHA II (Toronto), Windsor House Vancouver, ‘homeschooled’ Unschoolers (FB groups) Possible approach: - research ways to access the group - design survey methodology - conduct survey - synthesis and share results. We are looking for 5 people working as a team. At TheBigLeaf.com, we want to implement a Cryptocurrency Risk Calculator designed by YOU and YOUR TEAM! Required: - A risk calculator with an algorithm developed by The Big Leaf (and you!) - Implementation: Wordpress website using the Colibri theme/template - A drop-down menu or search bar to bring up any cryptocurrency from coinmarketcap.com or similar website - Automatic acquisition of key data from selected cryptocurrency from coinmarketcap.com or similar platform The Idea: Take the data from reputable sites like coinmarketcap.com (etc.), present it to the user, and give them a basic-input dashboard to essentially calculate the apparent risk of a given cryptocurrency. For example a user may not care what the total market cap is and will want to give that a 'weight' of 0%. For example a user may be very risk averse and want to 'weigh' certain factors higher than others. For example a user may 'weigh' all factors equally high (in which case a default calculation results). Thus, We need the calculator UI, wordpress integration, the algorithm driving the calculation, and the data acquisition functionality

Who are the players? e.g., customers (bride, groom and/or their parents), venue, planner, venders (we are particularly interested in photographers and videographers), wedding aggregators, online websites creators etc. c. How does money flow among players? Who pays what to who? How much (range)? d. How do the online platforms work? is it automated and if so how much? what percentage of the work in this industry is being processed manually? are there any standard practices? 3) Extra: How do destination weddings work? How is it different? Who are the major players? 4) There has been a surge in virtual weddings since the pandemic, what are the components of that? Players? How do people attend? *Note: Wedding industry is extremely fragmented; therefore, you may need to create several flowcharts. February 3rd, 2022 Riipen Intern Task Outline (This is a PAID internship per student via LevelUp, $1400.00 CAD) Lokx - https://lokx.ai/, is small woman-owned business (SWOB) focused on serving the overall cyber security market. We operate as system integrators and consulting engineers to provide services (professional services) and multi-vendor solution sets to our target prospects and clients. At Lokx we focus on public sector and commercial SMB prospects and clients seeking help and assistance in strengthening and improving their “cyber hygiene”. Our engagements can take many forms - purchasing relevant equipment and providing installation, providing consultation on risk and compliance issues including performing gap analysis, risk assessments and audits, developing pre and post incident response plans and cyber awareness training for prevention. We represent a number of “best of breed”, marquee, equipment and software companies used to fulfill our mission with clients. Geographically we are headquartered in Atlanta Georgia U.S. with an orientation to serving the southeastern U.S (D.C to Texas, down to Florida). Background - This request covers a couple of different tasks substantially around business planning and market development.. Accepting party should be prepared to execute on both. In all cases Lokx expects to be actively involved in helping to achieve the desired outcome. This will include, but no limited to, providing mentoring, daily/weekly guidance, examples of prior work product both Lokx and competitors. Zoom or video conferencing calls as need be for “check-ins” and progress updates. Tasks Take a list (list provided) of top MSPs/MSSPs and expand on currently known information about the company. This will include but is not limited to- prospect research from publicly available sources surfacing additional key contacts working within the prospect company, up to 3/5 contacts in total. Surface and research additional useful contact details on each of the contacts such as valid corporate email address and LinkedIn profile. Document results of this collected information is a Lokx provided GoogleSheet. Conduct market research and sampling from this same list of 500 target prospects. This subtask can be conducted via written or voice survey with results compiled into a Lokx provided GoogleSheet. Lokx will provide detailed guidance with regard to the focus of this sampling to ensure a representative sampling and subset across the 500 targets Timeline - while we would like to get this project completed ASAP, Lokx is very flexible on overall timing. In all cases Lokx will comply with any time constraints imposed by Riipen.
