Non-Profit Grant Writing

Ancestral Hands Midwives (non profit organization) is looking for assistance with grant applications to acquire funds that will support our mission: to reduce racial disparities in maternal outcomes and improve the experiences and outcomes for Black people during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods. We're looking for students to help us:Research and create a list of grant opportunities utilizing Google, and grant searching platforms such as Pocketed.Compile a master list of grant answers from existing grant applications and input the information into the provided blueprint.Develop a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and justifies the need for funding based on the provided documentation (which will include the organization's mission and vision statement as well as previous grant applications).Complete 1-4 grant applications (depending on the length of the application) that can then be submitted by the organization.

Event Management

For this Project we are looking for individuals to organize an event to promote our new Spring line. Students will have to create a timeline and map out logistics in order to successfully plan the event. We are looking for creative individuals with an interest in Fashion, Marketing or Logistics. Students will create a timeline for the event to showcase all the activities for the day of the event. They will then create a marketing campaign to advertise the event, this will include social media content as well curating emails to be sent to our email distribution lists. Lastly, students will connect with local vendors to see if they would like to participate in our event. New Employee Training Development

Our company has a unique way of doing sales which is challenging to learn for new hires. We need an online course that will introduce employees to their roles, take employees through all start-up resources, and provide our founder with standardized feedback and data about employee progress.We would like to automate our onboarding process for our business and reduce the time spent by our founder on repetitive onboarding tasks.
