CANASA Database Update Project
The main goal of this project is to reach out to contacts in the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) database who do not have an email address and determine if they are still active in the security industry. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Researching the contacts in the database to determine if they are still active in the security industry. - Reaching out to contacts to obtain their email address and permission to continue communicating with them. - Working with internal resources to ensure the database is kept up-to-date.

Potential Ecology Centre Visitor Analysis
In this project, we hope to gain insight into future tourism/customer projections by analyzing existing data on who has visited the North Coast Ecology Centre. This will help us enhance and refocus our marketing efforts by being able to identify the needs of our customer base, reach them most effectively, and address any pain points they face. Students will research customerβs behavior through sales trends and demographics, analyze existing data, create predictive models, and provide recommendations for how to move forward and streamline operational hours. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Analyzing market data to define different segments based on customer needs. Choosing appropriate metrics to examine existing Centre data, and analyzing it using data analysis software to identify trends and correlations. Creating predictive models for various outcomes the market (tourism sector) may face. Creating a report with all findings from analysis conducted, including recommendations for next steps.
