Jazz Ensemble Play-A-Long Web App
The goal of this project is to develop a web-based application designed specifically for music students in Manitoba to enhance their jazz ensemble skills. The app will serve as an educational tool, providing students with the opportunity to practice along with pre-recorded jazz tracks, receive real-time feedback, and improve their improvisation and ensemble playing abilities. The problem this project addresses is the lack of accessible, interactive tools for jazz students to practice in a simulated ensemble environment. By creating this app, we aim to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical application, making jazz education more engaging and effective. Key features of the app will include: - A library of pre-recorded jazz tracks in various styles and tempos. - Real-time feedback on timing, pitch, and dynamics. - User-friendly interface tailored for students at different skill levels.
