In our efforts to target a new demographic of Millennial consumers, we have experienced challenges maintaining a consistent voice across media channels. We want you to assist us in updating our branding in a way that clearly differentiates us from our competitors and serves our target Millennial market. Market Expansion Research
We are ready to take our business to the next level. Presently we only exist in one market but itβs time to grow! Our company requires some assistance is assessing our customer landscape outside of our current territory. We want to learn more about customerβs expectations and behaviours in suggested new regions. It is important for us to stay up to date on industry standards to ensure that we research new locations fully and completely before choosing to enter. We have some ideas of where we would like to go but we need to make sure that we consider all available options before making a decision.
Business Administration
The primary focus for the student will be: (Remove any that don't apply) Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for entering a new market; develop a go-to-market strategy; identify new funding and grant opportunities, write proposals. Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes. Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion); Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our sales team; design a new/improved pricing or service structure.
Security & Penetration Testing of Web Application
Our company has a website / technology product. A standard practice for web based tools is to conduct what is known as penetration tests. We would like a group of students to design and perform a pen test on our application, involving: Students become familiar with our product and understand generally how it works. Students should spend time conducting research on state of the art pen testing technologies. They should look into common vulnerability lists such as OWASP Top 10, and common security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suitar, Nessus, and Wireshark. Students are free to attack our product as per the presented plan. Students submit a final report of any findings.
