Hello,

I am Amir, a Nepalese native, who has been joyfully calling Canada home since the year 2023. Now, I am majoring Computer Software at Mohawk College which is located in Hamilton with an aim of pursuing my interest in technology.

Being propelled by a strong, intrinsic drive, to make a constructive and positive change through technology, my ultimate aim is to eventually graduate into a software developer role. I aim to mobilize my education and experiences in constructing new software programs that could improve the state of life of citizens at large.

I am eager on networking with experts in the technology field and discovering possibilities of engagement in the affective assignments.

Marine Education Knowledge Hub

Oceanic Impact aims to enhance public awareness and education about ocean ecosystems by developing an online ocean education database. The goal is to help develop an online database that contains various educational resources, such as articles, videos, and interactive tools, lesson plans, funding opportunities, etc. to facilitate the learning and teaching of marine life and conservation efforts. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of database management [and optional: web development and user experience design]. The team will focus on creating a cohesive and accessible digital resource that can be easily navigated by educators (primarily audience) and potentially parents and students (secondary audience). By integrating multimedia content and interactive elements, the database will serve as an engaging educational tool for schools and the general public. - Develop a structured database to store and organize educational content. - [Asset] Design a user-friendly interface that enhances the learning experience. - [Asset] Integrate multimedia elements to make the content engaging and informative. - [Asset] Ensure the platform is accessible and easy to navigate for diverse audiences.
