Hello, my name is Naima Hassan. I am a third year psychology major and history minor at the University of Alberta. My time at university, learning and interacting with others has been invaluable. However, I am looking for new avenues to apply the knowledge I have learned so far, as well as a way to learn different skills. Something interesting and personal about me is that I love to do volunteer work. I have been volunteering for more than 5 years now since junior high and have never regretted it. I enjoy volunteering the most in spaces where I can communicate with others because it helps facilitate networking and builds up skills. From volunteering, I have learnt to better interact with both children and people from different cultures. I have learnt how to conduct myself safely within a kitchen space. I have learnt about the environment and what we as individuals can do. Most of all, I have learnt compassion and respect. An invaluable trait.
