Dr. Stephanie Bishop received her B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Chemistry and has more than five yearsβ experience working on multidisciplinary metabolomics projects, including analytical method development and validation. In addition, she has extensive experience in the Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry field and working with data scientists to develop new software tools for analytical chemistry applications and big data visualization.

Responsibilities include engaging with potential leads, evaluating marketing strategies, and refining our overall marketing plan for optimal effectiveness.

Metabolomics is a powerful tool used for clinical research, diagnostics, and personalized medicine among many other fields. Fluidome reduces the complexity of metabolomics research with our custom-designed kits including consumables and software and we want to develop a user-friendly interface and simple data visualization templates for our existing software.In this multi-phased project, students will improve the usability of our software by developing templates or modules that users can select from to visualize data and add a graphical user interface.This will involve:Β· Developing a series of data visualization modules for the software.Β· Developing a straightforward GUI to allow users to interact with these visualization modules.Β· Developing a reporting system for users to download the results of the analysis and visualizations.Β· Testing the software and documenting any updated code and issues that arise.Β· Working with non-expert users to find issues and difficulties with the GUI.
