Campus Thrift is a wonderful social enterprise that is just at the start of its growth and impact to students. It was incredible to be a part of a brand that lives out its vision and mission to make shopping thrift accessible to students like me.

This internship allowed me to collaborate with other students, think creatively outside the box, and be innovative. This was my first time working in an unfamiliar business segment as a business professional. It was fun working with the founder of CT. I would recommend students to intern with her because I enjoyed it so much, especially after a long day at school. Creating content for Campus Thrift gave me time for reflection. I would encourage other students looking to challenge their marketing abilities and get creative with them.

I loved working with Campus Thrift! Vuyile allowed me the opportunity to hone in on newer skills that I may have not spent so much time on in the past. In addition, she made sure every task was understood and took the time to edit and explain certain tasks in depth. She was also very accommodating when it came to my school schedule, as long as I completed tasks in a timely manner. I hope I get an opportunity to work with Campus Thrift again in the future.

Creating content for Campus Thrift allowed me to gain valuable experience in an area of study I would like to pursue and strengthen a multitude of my skills. Vuyile is very passionate about her cause and I enjoyed working for someone so involved in their business.

Vuyile is the best. I truly admire her passion for this project and all the hard work she’s done to realize her visions. I’m so grateful to have worked with someone so understanding, organized, pleasant. My time with Campus Thrift was brief, but anyone could tell that it’s a good organization and learning/working environment.
