Kiera recently completed an 80-hour Grant Writing Virtual Internship Project with Barks of Love Animal Rescue. Throughout the entirety of her time with us, Kiera was more than a pleasure to work with and provided so much for our nonprofit in such a short amount of time. Our organization will forever be grateful for what she was able to provide us, not only now, but endless opportunities for us in the future. She has excellent communication skills, is an extremely efficient writer, great at following instructions, and extremely personable. Her proposal writing skills are at the highest level our organization has ever experienced! Barks of Love was extremely and consistently impressed with the way she carried out her duties with passion and enthusiasm. During the period she served us, she was a great asset due to her high level of care and extremely high-quality productivity and timely completion of tasks assigned to her; it was almost hard to keep up! Kiera has a high capability of following instructions given and articulation of ideas both verbally and in written form. Kiera is self-motivated, swift to act, and provided us with great analysis and suggestions with every assignment. She is a quick learner with self-motivation to carry out her duties and perform tasks into perfection. I am confident she will be a significant pillar within any organization. Kiera was solely responsible in helping us to create a new program, Rescue Readers, that will for the first time transform one of our outreach programs into a virtual program that can reach a larger audience. She has a very special spark, and I trust she will go far in making our world a better place. She will be missed and I highly recommend her to any future employer or volunteer organization. Barks of Love was so impressed and pleased with Kiera that we have extended her an offer for a future permanent volunteer staff opportunity when her time permits.
