Kwame was an outstanding contributor and an absolute delight to have on our team. He did a fantastic job helping plan and facilitate our inaugural event which was highly complex and high visibility in front of key stakeholders. His passion and determination to achieve excellence shone through and I highly recommend him to other employers.

Post-Event Analysis and Report Development
We would like students to help us with creating a Post-Summit Report based on our recent Afri Future Tech Summit. The Afri Future Tech Summit is a unique platform that brings together Canadian and African tech ecosystems for mutual benefit. This year we had our first in person event in Toronto, Canada and sucessfully drew over 150 people. We're an organization that is focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders for equitable exchange; weβre building shared value between Canadian and African stakeholders to achieve a more just and sustainable future. If you're passionate about exploring the exciting and impactful opportunities between Africa and Canada, then this is for you!
Event Planning - The Future is NOW! Celebrating Canada's Top 10 U18 Changemakers
Our organization is committed to making Canada the best place in the world for kids to grow up. Events play a critical role in our organization, helping to expand our reach on the lives of 8 million young Canadians, and through raising funds to support our mission throughout the year. Children First Canada is currently launching a new event: the Future is NOW: celebrating Canada's Top 10 U18 Changemakers, taking place on May 7, 2024, in Toronto, ON. We would like to work with Level UP students to support the planning and logistics for the event to help meet our goals. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals. Creating a plan of action and a detailed breakdown of tasks for volunteers to complete at the event. Coordinating event logistics. Assisting in marketing and promoting our event. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending improvements for future fundraising events.
