The following scope is being requested to integrate into the organization's business planning and long-term strategy prior to growing the produce. The organization is open to modifying its business plan, such as crops to be grown, based on suggestions that are made in the report. Marketing strategy development: Develop a new marketing strategy for a new social enterprise that intends to sell fresh grown produce from Northern Ontario that has been grown in a greenhouse or vertical farm. Marketing Mix strategy: Provide insight and recommend sustainable strategies related to the Marketing Mix (Product, Place, Price and Promotion). Conduct external analysis (including customer, competitor, market and environment) as well as marketing mix performance. Develop an integrated online/offline communication strategy.

Virtual: Blogging Internship

We would like to hire 2 students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. WHAT IS FAST AND FEMALE Fast and Female is a Canadian charity on a mission to keep self-identified girls aged 8-14 healthy and active in sports and physical activities. Founded in 2005 by Olympic gold medalist Chandra Crawford, Fast and Female believes in the power of positive sport experiences and role models to give girls leadership, teamwork, and resiliency skills. In our endeavour to foster lasting involvement in sports and other movement-based activities, we host national and local events and programs in collaboration with community partners and like-minded individuals. Fast and Female provides opportunities for powerful connection with REAL (Relatable, Empowered, Active Leaders) Role Models from within the girls’ communities. To accomplish this, we expect the students will: Virtually interview our role models, supporters and event participants to create blog posts about their stories and experiences (Via Zoom, Email, Phone) Create weekly blog posts highlighting our events, supporters, participants, role models, and other fun aspects of our organization  (WordPress) Optimize our blog posts with SEO best practices (keyword research, keyword content groups, H1s, alt text etc) to help in getting our content found via search engines BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH FAST AND FEMALE Working with Fast and Female is a great opportunity to not only gain fundamental digital marketing and social media skills but also the chance to join forces with a team of women on a mission for social change and empowerment for self-identified girls. Though our core team is small, it is surely mighty, having garnered over 700 REAL (Relatable, Empowered, Active Leaders) Role models in our network, over 10,000 Instagram followers, over 10,000 Facebook fans, and over 13,000 email subscribers. You’ll have a chance to build new skills, make mistakes, try new things and have fun, with a team that encourages creativity and individuality. Most notably we use facial recognition to determine consumers ideal cosmetics routines. We're looking for a student to help us with the creation of new graphic design assets. This will include: Creating graphic design assets for our marketing materials and websites, such as our social media posts on linked in and Instagram. Growing our social media presence. Creating downloadable reports about trends in the industry Creating articles to improve SEO Creating visuals that will appeal to cosmetic companies.
