Collective Intelligence Data Analysis

Positions available: 1-4 (1-2 teams of 1-2) LUCA Theory is looking to partner with a talented student[s] to contribute to our collective intelligence data analysis. We're looking for someone who is diligent and tactful to be able to help us manage data pipelines, build visualizations and run analysis. This role is for someone who is looking to get their foot in the door at an early-stage startup with the opportunity to grow. LUCA is a collective intelligence startup based out of Montreal. We are committed to helping power decision-making in a variety of fields with our goal to overcome cognitive biases and be less wrong. We primarily work remotely and get together for key sessions when it dictates. About the Role We are continuing to evolve our data analysis strategy, increase our impact in the collective intelligence market and improve our product offering. To expand our ability to generate novel insights and identify superforecasters within our platform, we are eager to partner with a student to assist with our collective intelligence data analysis. To support our data analysis we are looking for a student to contribute to the following: * Clean event data from recent collective intelligence contests to make uniform; * Perform data analysis on datasets with the eye to identify superforecasters and prepare to build artificial intelligence algorithms; * Contribute to the development of an automated backend and overall rapid response algorithm; * Assists in general database management and organization. This role may be split up amongst a pair of students/teams, depending on profiles and mandates. Start-up seeking NLP developers 2023 (Part 3)

Number of positions available: up to 5 Our team is seeking up to five energetic NLP(natural language processing) student developers who are passionate and creative. We want these students to be entrepreneurial and willing to learn from ~30 years of combined experience. The students will be responsible for implementing functions in our dev environment and Google Collaboratory. The project: We are going to provide each of the five student with a list of links and the sections we want algorithmically parsed, using NLP techniques. Our dev team will work closely and train the student(s) on how to accomplish this. The students will then execute the algorithmic parsing of the provided links. We are going to start out slow, and ramp up, as the project progresses. This is an incredible opportunity to build your resume and portfolio. We want this student to be entrepreneurial and willing to learn from ~30 years of combined experience. The students will be responsible for implementing functions in our dev/testing/prod environment where he will build data pipelines of a new product we are launching. The project: Our dev team will work closely and train the student on how to accomplish this. The students will then execute on the project tasks. Data Analysis (Fall 2023)

The main goal for this project is to collect and analyze data that will help us discover new customers. Our goal is to understand new audiences and potential customer segments so that we can promote our platform to them and capitalize on new business expansion opportunities.
