Rally - Market Research for Seed Stage App
PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET: Rally is a Seed Stage start-up focused on building an application that will change how lawyers and their clients interact moving forward. We are currently a team of 11 and growing quickly. With Rally you will learn a lot about what the start-up world is like and see if it is for you. It is fast-paced and constantly evolving based on industry trends and valuable marketing information that we are hoping you can help us collect! Our project is a marketing research one with a few smaller projects that will give us an overall better picture of our client base, our total available market, and our competitive landscape. We have done some research over the years but never a comprehensive project like we are setting out to do now, so it will be exciting to see what the results are. KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES/TÂCHES ASSOCIÉES AU PROJET: Competitive Analysis - Build a database of our competitors including their features, what kind of marketing messaging they are using, screenshots of the ads they have been running, size of their team, size of their client base, etc. Outbound research - We have identified a grant in Northern Ontario where law firms can get funding to help pay for software like Rally. We would like to compile a list of potential leads we could pitch Rally to and also include information about how they can use the grant. Prospect research - Use information from our current client base to help drive research on other clients that could be a good fit for Rally. Help us find databases of where lists of law firms are stored so we can work to gather all of that information for outbound sales experiments.
