We are looking for students who want to share their talents and passion for STEM/STEAM with the next generation of innovators & change makers. You will be a role model and foster an inclusive online class/camp environment where all students feel welcome. The goal of the project is to help us run afterschool programs, events and refine lesson plans/student roadmap templates & showcase how good your are in empowering younger generation. Part of this Riipen project, we will assign certain tasks as explained in the expected tasks section. It will be vary student to student and what strength they bring in. However, there is possibility of converting that into longer period paid opportunity through Student Work Placement Program (SWPP).

Audio Engineer & Narrator Phase 2: History

Positions available: 30Upon completion of Phase 1 (Medical Health Sciences Audiobooks), Audio Engineers will embark on Phase 2; recording of audiobooks focused on history. Each student will be assigned a specific history audiobook to record. We have over 160 books in our catalogue.We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.Project Outcomes: Audio Engineers will finish narrating, recording, mixing, and editing two (2) history-focused audiobooks in phase 2 (80 hrs). Receipt of the Level UP honorarium is contingent upon full completion of this outcome in the allotted 80 hours.Project Description: With guidance from the program manager, assistant program managers, and creative directors, the Audiobook Narrator and Audio Engineer will work in small groups (1-2 people) to narrate and record historical texts and manuscripts for the purpose of audio-book production.The Audiobook Narrator and Audio Engineer will possess the following attributes and qualifications:- Ability and desire to record one’s own voice using digital recording technologies.- Working understanding of recording including but not limited to: Digital audio workstations such as garage band, Protools, Reaper, Logic pro, or others), microphone placement, recording, editing, and enhancing recorded audio.- Self-starting workflow to meet rigorous deadlines.- Ability to create and maintain one’s own work schedule without direct supervision whilst ensuring a high degree of quality and integrity in the final product.- Access to one’s own recording equipment and recording space, including but not limited to; Microphones, XLR/USB cables, and an audio interface.- Applicants must own a computer capable of recording, storing, and processing large file sizes (minimum specs; 4GB RAM, 1.5 GHZ intel i5 processor or equivalent, at-least 30- 50 GB of free hard-drive or SSD space).- A captivating vocal presence - ability to portray engaging narratives through vocal flexibility and variation.The Audiobook Narrator and Audio Engineer will work closely with creative directors, program managers, graphic designers, authors, and editors to produce narrative works of high quality and integrity. Healthcare Content Creation Opportunity for Digital Publication

People are......health. They put much less faith in their doctors today than in any time in prior history, and are demanding options for treatment that go beyond simply a prescription for one more daily pill.  There's a sense that there is more out there worthy of consideration, both within provincial medical systems, but also outside of it. A world of options exist - ranging from the dutifully tested to the anecdotal to the downright irresponsible, and with the added dimensions of DNA testing, genome sequencing, personal data collection and more, the Health Consumer is becoming more informed, enlightened and exposed to a myriad of choices - some of are here and others still yet to come.Launching in late September 2022, The Health Insider (a fully-owned subsidiary of RSRS) looks for the insider's perspective to find the answers to the important questions Health Consumers are asking. This project will be focussed on creating content for launch and the first month post-launch.
