Interdisciplinary Authors - March 2023

This project will begin March 1st following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The end-date for the project and deliverable submission deadline is March 31st at 11:59 PM MST. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking 100 post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting. Participants will produce a finalised deliverable of a minimum 3000-word article. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas. Applications will only be accepted if the team name is your first and last name. Do not apply in teams.

Hire A Travel Coordinator

The main goal of this project is to hire a travel agent/coordinator to research and plan the itinerary for the cross-Canada trip we will be doing next year from the end of May 2024 till the end of August 2024. The itinerary should cover 10 locations per province, showcasing various key craftsmanship, innovation, education, and community-building businesses in Canada.

Canadian Supply Chain Network Mapping Project

The main goal for the project is to create a digital map of all the existing supply chain networks in Canada, including passenger buses, shipping, warehouses, and resources to support the logistics and transportation industry. This project will involve several different steps for the learners, includingResearching and analyzing the existing supply chain networks in Canada.Developing a digital mapping system to visually represent the networks.Identifying and categorizing communities, both large and small, to be included in the mapping project.Creating a database of resources and supports available within each community.Implementing a user-friendly interface for accessing the digital map and network information.

Course Material Development for Robymisterdrums Enterprise

The main goal for the project is to work with a group of business owners to write course material for a series of workshops that will be used in a variety of different applications and venues including: online course, live on location workshops, expos, and other applications. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:Collaborating with business owners to understand the content and goals of the workshops.Researching and developing course material for online and live workshops.Creating engaging and interactive content that can be used in various applications and venues.Incorporating feedback from business owners and making necessary revisions to the course material.
