Sarah Lathrop is a master of relationships, an advocate for students and educators, a technical wizard, a student of the Ohio education landscape for more than 20 years, and an Executive Director who hasn’t met a solution she couldn’t find. Sarah has a true passion for prior learning credit, transfer and articulation, degree optimization, and meeting students where they are. She currently serves as the Program Chair for Applied Management and for the Associate of Applied Science degrees at Franklin University. She recently developed Associate degrees that welcome micro-credentials, professional certificates, and career and technical education. Sarah previously served as the Director of the Credit for Integrated Life Portfolio Grant Program (Franklin, CCAD, ODHE), the Articulation Specialist for Columbus State Community College (as part of a Title III Strengthening Institutions Grant), and the Director of Education Relations at Franklin. She earned her EdS in Administrative Leadership for Teaching and Learning from Walden University, her MS in Grant Writing, Management, and Evaluation from Concordia University, an MBA from Franklin University, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Business Administration at Franklin University. Sarah serves as the proud President and Executive Director of the Upper Arlington Softball Association; a thriving non-profit that serves more than 400 players (Pre-K to 14U) year-round and the JV Assistant Softball Coach at Upper Arlington High School. Sarah is the proud mom to Jillian, David, Charlie and Marley and resides in Columbus, OH.
