Details

The Black Health Education Collaborative seeks to enhance the effectiveness of its self-paced online course, the Black Health Primer, which focuses on Black health and anti-Black racism. The course aims to educate learners on critical issues affecting Black communities and promote understanding and advocacy. However, to ensure the course meets its educational goals and provides value to its participants, a comprehensive evaluation strategy is needed. This project involves developing a structured evaluation plan that assesses the course's content, delivery, and impact on learners. The goal is to identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring the course remains relevant and impactful. The project will require the application of knowledge in educational assessment, data analysis, and feedback collection.

  • Understand the current structure and content of the Black Health Primer.
  • Identify key metrics and methods for evaluating the course's effectiveness.
  • Engage partners in the development of the evaluation strategy
  • Develop tools and processes for collecting and analyzing feedback from course participants.
  • Prepare preliminary evaluation report
Deliverables

The project will result in a detailed evaluation strategy for the Black Health Primer, including:

- A comprehensive report outlining the evaluation plan, including objectives, metrics, and methods.

- Tools and templates for data collection, such as surveys or feedback forms.

- A presentation summarizing findings and recommendations for course enhancements.

- A timeline for implementing the evaluation strategy and integrating feedback into course updates.
