The organizational mentor must meet the following criteria: 1. Hold a graduate degree 2. Agree to meet with the student and faculty advisor on a regular basis, 3. Provide an assessment of the students' work every semester.

Do you have a U.S.-based project that could benefit from collaborating with Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students? Elevate your organization and take it to the next level. Bring on learners from the University of North Dakota to serve as your learner-consultants in a project-based experience. Throughout the project, learners will connect with you as needed using virtual communication tools.
In your project, students will function as members of your health-care-focused interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate a DNP project. In addition, under faculty and mentor guidance, they will analyze, report, and present the results of the project to you.

The final project deliverables might include:
- 10-15 minute presentation of key findings and recommendations.
- A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Other materials as negotiated with the company.
Project Examples
Beginning in May, students will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations based on their in-depth research and analysis.
Project activities might include but are not limited to:
- Identifying a practice focus area for the DNP project
- Designing an innovative practice-focused project that will inform practice through evidence-based research
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement a DNP project
- Evaluating DNP project data
- Presenting DNP project results

Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback.
Be available for a quick phone call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.
Provide a dedicated mentor who is available to answer questions through emails or phone calls over the duration of the project.
Complete student assessments each semester and return to course faculty.
Be available for regular meetings with the students and/or faculty advisor to ensure the progress of the project.
An Affiliation Agreement with the University of North Dakota is required to work together. Would you be willing to agree to an agreement after review and modifications if needed?
