Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

Mage CRM is a customer relationship management software that focuses on the sales process.  It helps people follow-up and close sales.

We would like to launch an Affiliate and Reseller Program (A/R) to help support sales of the Mage CRM software.  We are excited about the prospect of providing A/R channel partners opportunities for additional sources of revenue.

By the end of the project, students will be able to provide a marketing and implementation plan for the A/R program that includes:

  • Market assessment of existing SaaS affiliate and reseller programs
  • Target market analysis for affiliate and reseller programs are
  • Marketing positioning and strategy recommendations for identified target markets

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?
  • Research and analyze affiliate and reseller models for SaaS solutions
  • Provide program recommendations based on above analysis and Mage CRM functionality
  • Develop an implementation plan and marketing strategy
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the co-founder and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. Students will have the opportunity to meet with and discuss aspects of the project with the leadership team.

Unless a customer or prospect specifically tells you never to call them back, there is always a follow up. Perhaps it’s a direct follow up to an inquiry, or perhaps it’s to check on them a year later to see if their circumstances have changed.
