Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society is a registered non-profit, charity organization engaged in developing 118th Avenue (75 – 106 Streets) into a community arts district.

We organized and presented a broad range of activities: extensive art showings, a variety of inter-disciplinary festivals as well as activities that are a blend of artistic expressions in an educational, mentoring and sharing environment.

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Create a social media strategy to increase Arts on the Ave engagement and visibility.
  • Assist with designing an effective social media posting guide.
  • Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns then setup a scheduled digital content for Arts on the Ave that could possibly use a template in the future.
  • Summary report of all Social Medias insights reports and produce a content strategy based on the reports.
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story
How will you support learners in completing the project?

Students will work closely with the primary Graphic Designer and Arts Administrator who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
