Details

The primary focus for the student will be:

  • Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for launching our services and products to the community and province of BC; develop a go-to-market strategy; identify new funding and grant opportunities, write proposals.
  • Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes and culture
  • Marketing - Complete a full client, programs,BIPOC, and Newcomers analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy for promoting our services to the community
  • Sales and business development - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our development team; design a new/improved programs or service structure.
  • Talent - Design a new/improved recruitment process; develop a diversity and inclusion strategy; design a new/improved employee engagement program. New positions, titles and salaries.
Deliverables

Our goal at the end of this experience is:

  • Strategy - For the student(s) to help us capture increased programs and services; for the student(s) to help us capture new revenue streams; for the student(s) to help us secure new funding and sponsorships
  • Operations - For the student(s) to help us implement more efficient and effective processes that maximize employee performance/client excellence and satisfaction.
  • Marketing - For the student(s) to help us reach more clients, community and organizations, effectively promote our brand, mission, and story.
  • Sales and business development - For the student(s) to help us roll-out better prospecting that increases sponsorship conversion rates and boost our programs and services awareness.review Pitch Deck for presentation
  • Talent - For the student(s) to help us build and maintain a productive, diverse, and engaged team.

Other duties the student may complete could include:

  • Volunteer coordination, Admin tasks, follow up calls
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

Mental health and wellbeing of the student will be ensured and support
