Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

DLA & Associates Inc is in the process of developing a line of innovative functional food products to cater to health-conscious consumers. The products include edible oils, flakes, grains, flour, and nutritional snacks.

We want to better understand our target market and audience for our products as well as the overall market so we can uniquely position ourselves within our industry.

The research will include:

  • Target market research and communications strategies to reach the target segments
  • Industry size and market potential
  • Competitive landscape and SWOT analysis
  • Strategic positioning of our brand, packaging considerations including product renderings

The final project can come in the form of a report. For Level Up students, students can pick certain areas to research if there is not enough time for all of these topics.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The students will do:

- market studies overview

- literature overview on assigned food ingredients and products

- statistics compilation

- online competitive research

- writing reports and designing PPT presentations

How will you support learners in completing the project?

We will provide at least 5 hours of mentorship and supervision.
